Dan Crosby, Lead Pastor

Maria Crosby

Daniel Crosby attended Bible school at Victory Bible Institute in Tulsa, OK, in 1985 and received hands-on experience at Victory Christian Center. Dan began overseas ministry with Victory Christian Center in 1987. Dan was the Acquire the Fire Director at Teen Mania Ministries for a couple years and then helped to start a short-term missions organization called Big World Ventures. Feeling called to the local church, he was asked to be an associate pastor at a 1,200 member church in Northwest Indiana.  He began Fuel International, a short-term missions organization, in 1996 in partnership with the local church. Dan has traveled to over 25 nations doing short-term missions. He graduated from Regent University with a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership.

Maria has also traveled to about 20 nations of the world doing short-term missions. She graduated from Oral Roberts University with a bachelor’s in Spanish Education. Maria grew up in a pastor’s home and helped with children’s ministry, music ministry, and youth ministry within the Church. Maria also assisted Dan in his ministry endeavors with Teen Mania, Big World Ventures, and Fuel International. Dan and Maria enjoy spending time with their family hiking, skiing, watching television and movies, and eating out. Dan and Maria have two young adult children, Seth and Alyzsa, who have been involved in ministry with them growing up.

Joy Syme, Worship Minister

Jeff Syme, Tech/Media

Joylin Syme is  a highly committed, dedicated musician who directs the Worship Team to bring the church body into the presence of the Holy Spirit through worship. Joy is also a music and choir director at one of the local home school co-ops. She has been faithfully leading worship at Fuel Church since the church began in February of 2014.

Jeff coordinates the Technology and Media teams for the Sunday evening service including sound, visuals, and video for the Sunday service. Jeff has been overseeing technology and media since Fuel Church began February of 2014.

Shane Mikus, Graphics

Christy Dillon, Hospitality

Shane Mikus is our “go-to” graphics creator. He coordinates and assists the Graphics Team in creation of the website, logos, banners, t-shirts, business cards, and flyers. Shane and his family joined the Fuel Church Launch Team in 2013 and continue to be a pillar at Fuel Church.

Feeling a little hungry? Christy and the Hospitality Team will make sure that you have coffee and donuts before the service begins each Sunday. But make sure you arrive a little early though! Christy coordinates a fun team of people who want to make you feel at home every time you walk through the doors!

The Underground Youth

Brooke Emary,
Fuel Kids Coordinator & Admin Assistant

Pastor Jim creatively coordinates the teaching teams and curriculum for the Underground (middle school through young adult). The Underground is a student-led youth ministry. Pastor Jim graduated from Elim Bible School in New York and has many years experience as children’s pastor, youth pastor, and senior pastor.  We are thrilled Pastor Jim is using his gifting at Fuel Church with our children and youth!

In 2019, Brooke Emary filled the position of the Fuel Kids Coordinator. She works diligently to present the Gospel and the love of Jesus to the next generation. Brooke will also be completing her Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Non-Profit Business in Fall 2020 at Colorado State University-Global. Along with these responsibilities, she assists in the Fuel office with finances and Fuel International mission trips.

Mary Ellen Crosby, Bookkeeper

Alyzsa Crosby,
Admin Assistant

Mary Ellen is the bookkeeper for Fuel Church. She worked in accounting for 30+ years at Oral Roberts University and donates her skills and expertise to Fuel Church. She currently resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Alyzsa Crosby graduated from Oral Roberts University in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Sociology. She assists with the creative media team (website, social media, and content creation), Fuel Kids, Fuel Underground, finances, and general office responsibilities.

Natalie Martell, Intern

Stasia Gessert, Intern

Natalie Martell was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She graduated in 2017 with Bachelor of Arts in Music. After working with Fuel International after the catastrophe of Hurricane Maria as a translator and main contact, she took a leap of faith and moved to Colorado. She interns in the Fuel office, developing her skills in the creative arts of media and worship.

Stasia Gessert is a native Coloradan. She is working towards her Bachelor of Arts in Ministry and Leadership at Oral Roberts University. She aspires to inspire, equip, and be instrumental in the advancement of the loving Kingdom of God. She currently assists with Fuel Kids, videography, outreach, and other administrative needs.
