The Good Shepherd

How do we know the voice of God? There are many voices, distractions, and needs in the world. Jesus gives us an example of how to hear, know, and respond to the will of God through his life. He also talked about the parable of the Good Shepherd and showed the parallels between a natural shepherd and himself. Even so, God wants that close relationship with us so that he can lead, guide, provide, and protect us as we hear, recognize, and respond to his voice. God leads but does not manipulate, coerce, or control us.
