Be Ye Perfect

Feb 19, 2023    Pastor Jerrell Sarmiento

Matthew 5:48 says, “Be therefore perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Nobody is perfect, right? So what does this scripture mean? Do we hear this scripture and demand perfection? I believe this scripture is about growth and drives us to get better and better. Let’s dive into the interpretation of this scripture and see how Jesus came to fulfill this scripture for everyone.

Discussion Questions

- What does “perfection” mean to you?

- How have you experienced God’s redemption in your own life?
